Reddit and Digg, my biggest time wasters at work. But which one do I spend most time on through the day? The sole winner and by a huge margin, Reddit.

Reddit is similar to Digg but slightly superior because the way the stores get to the front page. Digg has a style where stories dugg get on t he front page but when they do, they come out of nowhere. They jump from the ‘Upcoming/Most Popular’ category and suddenly appear on the front page.

Reddit does things differently, a story can be ‘upped’ if you will, through a long list of submission where it will slowly creek up the ladder and on to the front page. This way, its good to keep coming back to reddit throughout the day because there is newer content, constantly. You can even hit the next page button and enjoy stories that are just about to hit the front page.

With digg, you need to traverse all the way to the ‘upcoming/most popular’ section to look at the stories that have a higher number of diggs. Basically, reddit is an upped version of diggs most popular category, and it just works.
