Doesn’t it seem like everywhere you look online there is a new online dating site popping up? Don’t you hate when check it out and it is just another “skinned” version of the same dating site you signed up to previously? What really bugs me, or rather did bug me when I used these types of sites is that it was always so obvious that the profiles were “fake”. I mean why did I sign up at your site just to read profiles and look at pictures of people that are obviously fake and haven’t logged in for years? Date.com is a little different. They have been online since 1997. I would say that makes them an established site. The other cool thing about their service is that they offer something unique for their members; the ability to utilize live web video and audio within their safe environment. Maybe this why so many of their profiles look like “real” people. Dating sites are finally getting rid of the ability for people to just make a listing for the sake of “messing” with other people. I think online dating has its place and allows real people to meet other people with similar interests in a safe, secure environment. I mean, how many stories have you heard or how many couples have you met that snicker when you ask how they met? I always love those stories. They seem to turn a little red in the face and then say “uhhh, we met online”.
