Everyone needs to check out this site. I couldn’t believe it when I ran across this project that UC Berkeley has. They have tons… and I mean tons of their classes available to anyone via webcasts and podcasts on their website.
I was shocked when I saw this so I figured that they were just offering up old, outdated courses but I was so wrong. When I started looking I found that there were literally hundreds of courses available on this website from as far back as the Fall 2001 semester to the current semester.
And don’t think that I am talking about just a few courses, there is everything from Geography to History, to Philosphy to Computer Science!
What a great resource for any Geeks that are “just interested” in some topics out there. I spent almost an hour and a half just looking through all of the offerings they provide.
Make sure you check it out HERE.

1Indeed, our webcasts are awesome. I would seriously check out Astro C10. It’s so mind boggling!
Go Bears! =)

2I’ll have to check that one out Maria. Are you a Golden Bear? What’s the deal with these courses? Do the paying students use them real time?

3Yes, indeed, I am a proud bear.
Of course we students use them! It gives us an excuse to not go to class! Okay, that’s not the true purpose of the webcasts, but they help when we need to study over material and want to watch again, take notes, etc. It comes in handy.
And now they’ve moved to YouTube.
