MySpace To Crack Down On Copyrighted Music

It was reported that MySpace, the hugely popular social site, will start to crack down on people uploading copyrighted music to their profiles. Those found abusing this will have their accounts deleted. What im asking is, will this really work?

Every time I log on to the site (its not many i swear) to look at pretty women’s profiles, i hear the shitty music playing in the background. Every profile that i have seen has had some type of music. And not just a clip, the whole damn song.

I admire the Myspace staff for taking this step, not because of the legality issues, but anyone who attempts to bar shitty music from people profiles is a friend of mine. How long until they ban emo pictures off of there?
