About six months ago, I purchased a PSP at my local Wal-Mart. It was awesome. For the first two weeks. After that it just sat there, collecting dust. The games i bought for it were fun, but I just didn’t find it fun to play with the console. I would play with the DS i had given my brother for Christmas.

So is the PSP dead? I think so. Altought it does have/had so many things going for it, UMD, Games, Internet, Music and home brew to name a few, the system just wasn’t fun. It had a nice design, it was nicely built, it just sucked.

The reasons It died so fast Is due to one reason, and one reason only. Great system, terrible games. When i bought it, i had bought Hot Shots Gold along with it. That was the only game that was ever fun. And it was golf! I hate real golf, but it was a trip playing Hot Shots. Not many games were available during the launch, and while the amount of games increased as time went one, the quality of them went down.

I just sold my PSP on eBay with all the games and the 1gb memory card. I lost about $50 int he deal. Not bad since I had it for 6 months, and used it for about 2 days worth of gaming. In November Sony is coming out with the PS3. How bad will they mess this up? We’ll see!
