I watched this documentary which aired on Friday as a special on HBO. It was interesting to see how the Diebold machines are so easy to sabotage. Someone doesnt even need access to the machine itself, the memory card is able to store a “live program” which will change the tally when the information is stored.

They showed how some voting centers where throwing out voting records. According to the law, these records should be kept for a minimum of 22 months. They have the Diebold CEO saying that he will give the Bush Administration the presidency.

It really concerns me how after all of this, some states will continue to use the Diebold system to manage their elections. What will it take for some people to realize that the current system isnt working? If you have not seen this documentary, you need to see it asap. Its a real eye opener, and something that must be shown to the masses.
