		<description>I've done stuff like this. I upgraded a broken USB thumb drive, from 128 and dead to 256 (back when they still had monetary value). I taped up the plastic container so much the girl at the courtesy desk wouldn't dare try to open it. I even scratched out the 128 in the model number, in case she did.

You can get free phone batteries/chargers, lithium-ion batteries, and stuff like that too. Just buy a smoke alarm or phone, take what you need, and return it. If they ask why, say, "It's supposed to have a charger, but doesn't." If they check the box, they will find that you are telling the truth. This, of course, works better with stuff that is not shrink wrapped, or otherwise air-tight.</description>
