		<description>Great post!  My belief is that anybody should be able to design and develop high-quality web sites for free.  One of the things that I struggled with for a long time was effectively creating web graphics without spending hundreds (or thousands) of dollars on software.  Paint.NET was the answer to my problems.  With free tools like Visual Web Developer Express, Paint.NET and Adobe Kuler - everybody has the tools at hand to build professional-grade websites by themselves in their spare time.  But of course, the tools are worthless unless you know how to use them, so posts like this are what make it all possible.

		<description>Gimp and Photoshop are both great tools, but your correct that they're not the best for everything.  Always try to use the right tool for the job.
