I just came across one of the coolest political sites that I have ever seen. www.whitehousecountdown.com is a website that combines two of my favorite things: politics and games! This site allows you to sign up a play a number of games for free. When you play these games you are rewarded with virtual money that you have raise for one of the politicians campaigns.

The highest scoring fundraiser for each day is feature on the standings page. It also keeps track of all of the registered users so that you can track your progress as political fundraiser.

If you haven’t quite decided who you are going to support in the upcoming presidential campaign then you can choose to create your own candidate and try to get others to help raise money for your campaign. Looking at the current standings it looks like a third party candidate could still do well in this game. I think it would be neat to some Geeks get together and get a real candidate in office.

If you are interested in playing the games there is still a great page you should check out on this site. They have a complete political video library on hand from serious campaigning from the major candidates to humorous video from all over the world.
