Have you ever had hosting and felt that your site was very slow? This might be due to the sheer amount of accounts a web hosting provider sets up on a given dedicated server. Want to see how many sites are on your server?

Go to whois.domaintools.com and enter your url. Once the query finishes, it will show you some basic information about your site. Now look for the block that has this information:

Look at the section saying ‘Reverse IP:’. There you will see how many sites are hosted on the server that you are currently hosted on. You can use this as evidence against your provider when arguing that he is over selling. Let me know how many sites your host piles on your server…
