I’ve always thought to myself, what is this for. Whats it’s purpose? Who would want to be lazy and just automatically write generated content on their site? Isn’t it the whole purpose of having a blog or personal site to write your own content and enjoy doing it?
Why do some people do this then? I think i have a reason, but its not pretty. The only reason that this would be helpful for me would be that i can buy a domain, have it be something with the word news on it like coolnews.com (but less cheesy) and just use the ‘Blog This’ button digg to fill my site with generated content. No mess, no fuss.
Soon the search engines will pick up on the very little text that is actually on my site, and it will start bringing visitors. Visitors who will then click my ads and earn me money. This might sound like a great idea but its actually pretty retarded for those who are looking for actual real content.
So digg, i urge you, get rid of this.
What other digg feature do you consider useless?

1I agree. Some people are just lazy and try and cash in on the very little money thats in adsense.
