Most accusations against Craiglist is focused on the issue of unfair competition, due to the free services they offer, whereas companies have built themselves based on monthly or weekly advertisement publications, which they charge the posters for a hefty sum. All of which are free for a Craiglist member. Craiglist retaliates by pointing out that they virtually do not charge at all, which is why the people are choosing them over priced services.
