While we still can’t successfully get to mars, and we still can’t create a stable functioning space station. We will now have an orbiting banana over Texas. Thats right, you read it correctly. A freaking banana. The ‘object’ will be put in to geostationary orbit over Texas.

This video shows how a tether is inexplicably put under stress and tension, and for some reason, it changes direction in a zero G atmosphere. When part of the tether is separated, it is swarmed by what looks like small flying donut shaped objects.

Instead of using conventional rocket fuel, this will make the trip much safer and economical in the long run. The trick is to use magnets and slingshot the capsule in to orbit. Its a nice idea, but I doubt it will actually work.
