A friend was going to purchase through them until I sat her down and showed her how MUCH she’d be paying thru BluHippo.com. A total SCAM company and sad that they haven’t been shut down. Looks to me like the US government doesn’t really care about scams like this. As long as people keep spending money. People like the ones who run BlueHippo.com should be in JAIL.

I agree with you all. I am one of you also that has purchased one of these laptops. I paid $79 a month just to get that laptop, a digital camera that was a pice of crap. It look just like a toy for kids to play with. The printer was a piece of crap as well. Then they tell you that after you have paid off your laptop then you will be reimbursed $300.00. well I haven’t seen that reimbursment yet.

In 2008 I was told that I would receive my computer when I pay the initial $99.00 for a computer and in the next three months I would have received a printer and tv free. To my surprise after paying the $99.00 they said that I had to pay off all the money which was over 2,000.00. I told them that was not the bargain and I would not continue with them. They stole my hard earned money. They are still scamming people unto now

thats funny how everyone is saying they paid 39.99 cuz i paid 79 a mnth and was also never given my free gifts that i was supposed to get ya .. u know the free printer and tv… they seen sucker writtien all over me! after 6mnths of having the computer the hard drive crashed … was a gateway… ya more like a giveaway an pay outta ur ass for it!! i knew this was some BS from the min i talke to the non english speaking jack wagons from customer service who were very very rude and treated me like an idiot when they were the idiots that u could hardly understand!! i was very high with anxiety waiting to see if i would get my computer as well which thank god i did because i was told if i cancelled there would be no refund what so ever!! very unpleased with there service … an was not happy to find how blindly i was scammed buyin a computer for the first time in my life!! Bluehippo can go blow it outta there fat scamming greedy asses!!

Ok so I’m another sucker who bought a blue hippo P.O.S. and recently I got a virus and had to reformat my computer with the disc that they sent me ( a version of Windows XP Professional). And as soon as I got done loading it, a message popped up saying that I may be a victim of software counterfeiting. It states that my version is not valid in my region. So not knowing what the hell this meant, I contatcted Microsoft and was told to get in touch with Blue Hippo to get the correct product key code. And of course as I try to look up the notorious Blue Hippo, I stumble across numbers that are no longer in service and all these other stories and complaints. Well at least I know now that my computer is a P.O.S. and should start saving up for a replacement since I can’t get a valid Operating System without having to fork out any more money for this oversized paper weight.
