Apple has announced that any beta users of Boot Camp version 1.0 through 1.2 will need to upgrade to version 1.4 in order to remain covered under its software license. The license, which expired on Sept. 30, 2007 was currently available for use on a trial basis.

Boot Camp is allows Mac users to run Windows and Windows applications on it. This makes it easier for consumers to switch from Microsoft Windows to the Mac because they can use their existing windows applications.
