Techdirt had an article on wheter bloggers would adopt a code of conduct. They also state that a ‘blog’ is simply a CMS (Content Management System). Well, thats not what a blog is. A blog is a ‘WebLog”. Meaning a log that you keep on the web. A CMS is simply a tool that lets you create a blog.

Take this site for example. This site is powered by WordPress. Although i dont consider my site a blog, I do use a common blog tool. All im saying is that CMS software is only the tool to assist you in creating a blog. The software itself is not a blog.
