A nice piece of photo shop skills is displayed in the picture created by Carlos Agell. It describes the VW Bug to include a NeoPlasma Magnetic engine.

The 3.17 m long Beetle can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h (62mph) in 5 sec while achieving a top speed of 300 km/h.

Im still skeptical that cars will take such a tremendous change in appearance in the next 50 years, but whose to say that they wont.
Altought I probably still wouldn’t get one… it IS a VW Bug after all.
